How good is Last Thursday
While Adaptive Pulses still fall a little behind the Heavy Burst family, it’s not by enough to where they’re completely outclassed, especially with the origin trait Exhaustive Research providing a free double damage shot in the form of a micro-missile. The only downside to this pulse is the stat spread. While most are within range for the frame, the 60 base recoil direction means this jumps around quite a lot, so pacing your shots or building into recoil reduction is key to letting this shine.
Last Thursday is A-Tier for PvE and A-Tier for PvP.

Last Thursday PvE god rolls
| PvE Roll: All-Around | |
|---|---|
| Barrel | Arrowhead Break |
| Magazine | Flared Magwell |
| Perk 1 | Demolitionist (also good: Subsistence or Strategist) |
| Perk 2 | Dragonfly (also good Frenzy or Binary Orbit) |
| Masterwork | Handling |
While it might seem odd, Arrowhead Break is our best barrel option as Last Thursday thankfully has a good bit of stability already, so increasing our recoil control and handling at no cost to another stat is perfect. Flared Magwell is always the go-to for its reload speed and stability increases. A handling masterwork will round the stats out nicely.
Perk 1 has a few good options, but with how strong our grenades can get now, Demolitionist is your best choice. However, Subsistence or Strategist will do you just as good with the utility they offer. For Perk 2, Dragonfly is going to pair nicely to get even more gains from Demo, especially with its buff. However, if you’re looking for more damage, Frenzy or Binary Orbit are available. Whichever damage perk you take, keep in mind that it will also enhance the damage of Exhaustive Research’s micro-missile!
Last Thursday PvP god rolls
| PvP Roll: All-Around | |
|---|---|
| Barrel | Arrowhead Break |
| Magazine | Ricochet Rounds |
| Perk 1 | Rapid-Hit (also good: Built to Last or Transcendent Moment) |
| Perk 2 | Headseeker |
| Masterwork | Range |
Much like our PvE roll, we will be going for Arrowhead Break for the barrel. Recoil is everything when playing out at range, and being able to consistently land all crit bursts is going to give you an edge. Tack on Ricochet Rounds and a range Masterwork to help hit farther.
Rapid-Hit is the clear winner for Perk 1, as each crit will make you more and more stable, which helps if you miss a few here and there. While untested, Built to Last increases stability and flinch resistance while having Void Overshield, Woven Mail, or Frost Armor, and could be good if you are able to consistently proc those. Transcendent Moment, on the other hand, increases your range and aim assist after a final blow, though the exact numbers are unknown. Perk 2, naturally, will be Headseeker. Not much else in this column lends itself to PvP, and Headseeker has always been a top pick, so not much else to say.
How to get Last Thursday

It can be obtained through secret chests found throughout the space, The Sieve, Time Latch Missions, and all other things Kepler-related.
