With each season, Bungie drops a new Ritual Weapon as a little reward for leveling the ritual vendors up to max. While they haven’t been anything quite meta in a while, they’ve always been unique. Fair Judgement falls into the latter category, but that’s not to say it’s bad. This guide will go over everything you need to know about Fair Judgement.

How good is Fair Judgement
On the PvE side, Precision Frame Auto Rifles are largely hit or miss. Their slow fire rate makes them unappealing to most, but the perk offerings here change that a bit. Rimestealer and Headstone are a perfect combo as they feed off each other very nicely and offer great survivability for all classes. Dynamic Sway Reduction and Onslaught might be a PvP combo to most, but it works great in PvE to keep the gun steady and shredding.
For PvP, DSR and Onslaught turn this thing into a laser beam. While it’s unfortunately stuck with a handling masterwork, DSR grants stability as it ramps up, and being an enhanceable weapon means it can utilize the new mod “Ballistics” which grants +6 to both range and stability. And once Onslaught gets going, it’ll be hard to put you down.

Fair Judgement Perks & God Rolls
The Fair Judgement auto rifle can roll with the following perks:
- Perk 1: Dynamic Sway Reduction and Rimestealer.
- Perk 2: Onslaught and Headstone.
- Origin Trait: One Quiet Moment, Vanguard’s Vindication, and Gun and Run.
Fair Judgement PvE god rolls
PvE Roll: All-Around | |
---|---|
Barrel | Corkscrew Rifling |
Magazine | Armor-Piercing Rounds |
Perk 1 | Rimestealer |
Perk 2 | Headstone |
Masterwork | Handling |
Origin Trait | Vanguard’s Vindication |
Since this is a static roll, there’s not much to say about the barrel and mag here. It’s there, and that’s it. Both offer good bumps to range, but that’s really not a must for PvE rolls.
Perk 1 is going to be Rimestealer, and Perk 2 will be Headstone. These pair very well with each other as Rimestealer can work off of any Stasis crystal, be it from abilities or otherwise. As such, it’ll be quick to get to max stacks of Frost Armor, which provides 22% damage resistance (36% if using Whisper of Rime!) The other two perks are good, but having free extra DR is nothing to sneeze at.

Magazine | Armor-Piercing Rounds |
Perk 1 | Dynamic Sway Reduction |
Perk 2 | Onslaught |
Masterwork | Handling |
Origin Trait | Run and Gun |
Same as earlier. Not much to say here, but it is nice that the barrel and mag help bump the stats most find important for PvP.
Perk 1 is obviously Dynamic Sway Reduction, and Perk 2 is Onslaught. DSR is going to make landing follow up shots that much easier as it increases your stability and lowers the spread. Onslaught is the perfect kill chaining perk here as, while the actual damage per shot does not increase, you’re able to fire much faster while maintaining the damage profile. At max stacks, you’re looking at a .5 second TTK on all Resilience tiers!
How to get Fair Judgement
Fair Judgement is earned from any one of the three Ritual Vendors (Zavala, Shaxx, and The Drifter) after reaching max rank the first time around. If you want it quick, wait for an increased reputation week for one of them, as that will halve the time needed. Be sure to also stick to the activity, as streaks will help boost the rep gains further.
