How good is Liturgy
Double-Fire Grenade Launchers aren’t the most popular, but that’s more due to there being so few of them. However, Liturgy breaks that mold by being Stasis, allowing it to fit into our first slot and also get the coveted Chill Clip perk. While it cannot proc freeze off the single shot, the Dark Ether Harvester Origin Trait overflows the mag, meaning it is possible to land a freeze without a reload!
For PvP, Double-Fires probably aren’t the best when The Mountaintop is now back in our hands. It could be an interesting pick, but nothing that shakes up the meta.

Wilderflight | Grenade Launcher | Special | Void | Spire of the Watcher Dungeon | Repulsor Brace |

Liturgy PvE god rolls
PvE Roll: All-Around | |
---|---|
Barrel | Hard Launch |
Magazine | Spike Grenades |
Perk 1 | Envious Arsenal (also good: Rimestealer) |
Perk 2 | Chill Clip (also good: Chain Reaction) |
Masterwork | Velocity or Reload Speed |
Grenade Launchers, both special and heavy, tend to use the same barrel and magazine, which is no different here. Hard Launch gives us the most Velocity while reducing the Blast Radius, and Spike Grenades enhance our direct impact damage by roughly 12%. A Velocity or Reload Speed Masterwork will do you well, depending on where you find the most drawback.
For Perk 1, it’s Envious Arsenal. Double-Fire GLs have been getting a lot of headway as damage weapons, and Envious Arsenal is perfect for that. Acting as a reload version of Bait and Switch means it’ll always be loaded and ready to go. Rimestealer is a great alternative for survival’s sake. Perk 2 also has a clear winner in Chill Clip. Regardless if it’s used for freezing or just applying a debuff, it’s just a solid perk all around. If you want to use it for larger ad-clear, Chain Reaction is still a solid choice, even after it’s nerf on special grenade launchers.
Liturgy PvP god rolls
PvP Roll: All-Around | |
---|---|
Barrel | Quick Launch |
Magazine | Spike Grenades |
Perk 1 | Slideways |
Perk 2 | Harmony |
Masterwork | Velocity |
As stated earlier, Double-Fire launchers in PvP aren’t all that great, especially with Mountaintop back. However, they can still be useful in the right hands if built right. We’ll want to bump the Velocity up with Quick Launch, as Hard Launch reduces Stability, which isn’t something we want here. Spike Grenades, as always, for better impacts, and a Velocity MW for easier shots.
Perk 1 is Slideways. Not much else in this slot is worthwhile in PvP, though the redacted perks might offer some better options. For now, though, Slideways is best for the Handling and Stability buffs you get. Perk 2 will be Harmony, as that will increase your chances of securing a kill while the perk is active.
