Destiny 2 Terminal Overload Rotation: Weapons and Keys

Terminal Overload is a 6-man activity that can be accessed in Neomuna, Neptune. As part of Lightfall, it does require you to own the Expansion in order to run it.

This guide covers all the exclusive Terminal Overload weapons in the loot pool (and a quick guide to help you conquer it).

How to complete a Terminal Overload

In order to initiate the Terminal Overload activity in Destiny 2, make your way to Neomuna and then to the area hosting the activity for the day. There you will notice a Psion surrounded by three small fragments of Darkness.

Destroy these three fragments to begin the activity, which consists of three damage phases culminating in a boss fight. After each damage phase, the boss will be shielded, and you will have to destroy the three fragments again to remove the shield and continue to damage the boss.

Terminal Overload Keys

To get the most out of the Terminal Overload activity, make sure you have a Terminal Overload key beforehand. These keys will allow you to open an extra chest, one that has much better loot than the standard one.

You can get Terminal Overload keys by:

  • Completing Nimbus’ weekly bounties (unlocked at Rank 13)
  • Opening chests in Neomuna
  • Completing Patrol activities
  • Completing Public events

You can carry up to 5 keys at any given time.

Before you go…

Neomuna is indeed one of the most active destinations in Destiny 2. On top of Terminal Overload events, you can also find Vex Strike Forces and Vex Incursion Zones. Plus, Neomuna-exclusive weapons are also worth chasing.
