How good is Crimil’s Dagger

On its fourth iteration, Crimil’s Dagger is now a worthy contender to the heavyweights within its group, such as the reprised Loud Lullaby and Malediction. While Igneous Hammer will remain king of 120 hand cannons, Crimil’s is arguably the strongest within the first slot for PvP.

Its contemporaries might have a few extra stats here and there, but the perk combos on Crimil’s let it come out on top. Crimil’s Dagger is C-Tier for PvE and A-tier for PvP.

Crimil’s Dagger Perks and God Rolls

The Crimil’s Dagger kinetic hand cannon can roll with the following perks:

• Perk 1: Firefly, Opening Shot, Lone Wolf, Keep Away, Slideshot, Moving Target, Slideways.
• Perk 2: Snapshot, Rangefinder, Eye of the Storm, Kill Clip, Precision Instrument, Adagio, Explosive Payload.
• Origin Trait: Skulking Wolf, Hakke Breach Armaments.

Crimil’s Dagger PvE god rolls

As is with most of our PvE rolls, Fluted Barrel and Flared Magwell will be our choices for barrel and mag perks. Being an aggressive frame weapon means much lower stats that aren’t range, and these two will help cover those low stats nicely.

Perk 1 is going to be Firefly. Not really much else in the column that will do you well in PvE, plus Firefly boosts reload speed after the precision kill. Perk 2 will be either Explosive Payload or Precision Instrument. Again, not much else to pick from here, and these are decently powerful perks in their own right.

While the stability on here is very good as is, Smallbore increases your range as well, and with Accurized Rounds + a Range Masterwork, you can hit out to almost 40m!

Perk 1 has pretty much only PvP choices, but Opening Shot or Slideshot are easily the best of the bunch, with Moving Target being an equally strong third pick. The first two help you boost range at the start of an engagement, and Moving Target makes peek shooting much easier. As for Perk 2, Rangefinder or Snapshot Sights are probably your best picks, but with a slew of good options, it’s hard to find a perk in this column that won’t serve you well in PvP. Just remember that Adagio no longer allows 2-taps on its own.
