How good is Aisha’s Embrace
Aisha’s Embrace is easy to overlook, as it is a Scout Rifle, a very unpopular weapon type. However, Aisha’s Embrace simply comes with so many good perks that it’s impossible to ignore this weapon.
In PvE, Aisha’s comes with some classic Void perks like Destabilizing Rounds, Demoralize, and Withering Gaze. While it notably is missing Repulsor Brace, this isn’t the end of the world, as Demoralize is still a strong option. Aisha’s is also a Rapid-Fire Frame, the best Scout Rifle archetype currently in PvE, only pushing Aisha’s even further up our list.
In PvP, Aisha’s Embrace is one of the best weapons available, mainly thanks to Precision Instrument dropping the time to kill to 0.7s, which is remarkable given the sheer range that Aisha’s Embrace has as a Scout Rifle. This, paired with general quality of life perks like Keep Away or Rapid Hit makes Aisha’s very easy to use while retaining that time to kill. Aisha’s Embrace is S-Tier for PvE and S-Tier for PvP.

Aisha’s Embrace PvE god rolls
| PvE Roll: All-Around | |
|---|---|
| Barrel | Fluted Barrel |
| Magazine | Flared Magwell |
| Perk 1 | Demoralize (also good: Rapid Hit or Shoot to Loot) |
| Perk 2 | Destabilizing Rounds (also good: Withering Gaze) |
| Masterwork | Reload Speed |
| Origin Trait | Roar of Battle or Fleet Footed |
For our barrel, we’re going to go with Fluted Barrel as it simply improves the Handling and Stability of the weapon, making it nicer to use. Flared Magwell is the best choice in our magazine slot as it boosts the Reload Speed, and with a reload masterwork, we manage to fix the low base Reload Speed stat on Aisha’s.
In perk slot 1, Demoralize is our main pick. It has some good synergy as an add-clear focused perk with Destabilizing Rounds, and effectively makes your weapon deal 15% more damage thanks to the constant Weakening effects provided. Alternatively, you could go for Rapid Hit and lose out on some weapon potency, or if you wanted to lean into more of a utility roll, Shoot to Loot is great.
In perk 2, coincidentally, we are going for Destabilizing Rounds as our primary pick. It works great with Demoralize, and even on its own, Destabilizing Rounds is a fantastic perk. As an alternate utility-focused perk, Withering Gaze can work wonders. Destiny has a debuff ‘snapshot’ mechanic, allowing you to lengthen the duration of more potent debuffs if you manage to apply another debuff in time. Pairing Withering Gaze with something like Shoot to Loot gives you the ultimate utility/support damage phase weapon.
Aisha’s Embrace PvP god rolls
| PvP Roll: All-Around | |
|---|---|
| Barrel | Polygonal Rifling |
| Magazine | Steady Rounds |
| Perk 1 | Keep Away or Rapid Hit (also good: Eye of the Storm) |
| Perk 2 | Precision Instrument |
| Masterwork | Stability |
| Origin Trait | Roar of Battle |
Because Aisha’s Embrace already has so much range due to it being a Scout Rifle, we’re opting to maximize our Stability, therefore, Polygonal Riflng, Stead Rounds, and a Stability Masterwork are our preferred picks. All of this combined bumps our Stability to a fantastic 81, giving us even more flinch resistance, potentially up to approximately 24% if you reach 100 Health stat.
For perk 1, Keep Away and Rapid Hit are our choices. Keep Away will, ideally, always be active as you should be keeping your distance with a Scout Rifle, making it a solid choice; however, Rapid Hit can help as a general quality-of-life option. Alternatively, Eye of the Storm can be clutch in certain situations, but isn’t our preferred option.
For perk 2, Precision Instrument is our sole recommendation. This perk bumps the time-to-kill down by a substantial amount (0.23s to be precise), making it match perks such as Kill Clip and Sword Logic, but without the kill requirement. All that this perk demands is a bit of accuracy and steady aiming.
How to get Aisha’s Embrace
Aisha’s Embrace is a Trials of Osiris weapon, meaning you need to step into Trials to get it. This can be found in the Crucible Ops section of The Portal. Before entering Trials, you’ll need to head to Saint-14 in the Hangar and purchase a Trials passage. The weapon can drop from the ends of Trials matches or at the Lighthouse chest. Wins will increase drop rates. We cover the Trials weapon this week here.
