Destiny 2 Unworthy: God Rolls & How to get it

The new Sundered Doctrine Dungeon has been released, and with it comes four exciting new weapons. These weapons fill spots in archetypes that have been missing a specific element for a while. Unworthy accomplishes this by being the first Rapid-Fire Scout since Season 15.

How good is Unworthy

Unworthy is an excellent workhorse weapon for anyone needing an Arc weapon. While Scout Rifles are generally quite unpopular, Unworthy isn’t a weapon you should simply turn your nose up at. With Firefly and Voltshot, Unworthy has unmatched AoE add-clear potential and also comes with the Subjugation Origin Trait, which is remarkably powerful as it effectively grants the weapon Explosive Payload, and a nerfed version of Sever depending on who you’re shooting.

In PvP, Unworthy is great for players who like to hang back and play safer. With Keep Away and Zen Moment or Precision Instrument, this is possible. The Subjugation Origin Trait helps here too, as damaging enemy players grants flinch resistance, allowing you to stay on target easier. Unworthy is S-Tier for PvE and A-tier for PvP.

Unworthy Perks & God Rolls

The Unworthy Arc Scout Rifle can roll with the following perks:

• Perk 1: Keep Away, Rapid Hit, Firefly, Rewind Rounds, Ambitious Assassin, and Heating Up.
• Perk 2: Zen Moment, Rolling Storm, Voltshot, Precision Instrument, Paracasual Affinity, and Frenzy.
• Origin Trait: Subjugation.

Unworthy PvE god rolls

For our barrel, Fluted Barrel is the optimal choice thanks to the quality of life it provides with the Handling boost. Appended Mag is also ideal for our Magazine because of the boost to the magazine it gives.

For perk 1, Firefly is the best pick as it helps with add clear massively by providing an AoE explosion. This is furthered by us choosing Voltshot in the second perk slot to make this weapon an add-clearing machine.

Unworthy PvP god rolls

Polygonal Rifling or Arrowhead Brake are the best options for the barrel as they further increase stability or improve the recoil direction of the weapon. Ricochet Rounds is good for the same Stability-boosting reasons.

In perk slot 1, Rapid Hit is a clear choice as while Keep Away is appealing, Scouts rarely need more range; however, it does work as an alternative. For perk slot 2, Precision Instrument is the obvious winner as it makes the time-to-kill a blindingly fast 0.7s with 4 headshots. However, Zen Moment also works if you’d prefer a more consistent and easier option.

How to get Unworthy

Unworthy comes from the Sundered Doctrine Dungeon found in Savathun’s Witch Queen. Unworthy can drop from all encounters. However, you’ll be best off farming the second or third encounters, as they are quite fast if you can one-phase them. We cover the full Sundered Doctrine Loot Table here.
