How good is Jurisprudent
Jurisprudent is a powerful Scout Rifle and can move across PvE and PvP with ease in the current meta. Providing a solid, long-range weapon to help Guardians tip a fight in their favour. Fitting strongly into Stasis builds or striking enemies with big damage, Jurisprudent could be one of the not-to-miss weapons of Edge of Fate due to its great perk combinations.
Leaning into its Stasis capabilities is what makes this weapon stand out in the current meta; it can help a Guardian hold their own in solo content or complement a team to great effect. The same can be said of its PvP counterpart, rewarding an accurate hand with 3 tap kills, paving the way for your team’s victory all from a safe distance across the battlefield. Jurisprudent is A-Tier for PvE and A-Tier for PvP.

Jurisprudent Perks and God Rolls
The Jurisprudent is a Stasis Scout Rifle and can roll with the following perks:
- Perk 1: Rapid Hit, Rimestealer, Enlightened Action, Lone Wolf, Tunnel Vision, Recycled Energy, Built to Blast.
- Perk 2: Headstone, Focused Fury, Harmony, Adrenaline Junkie, Explosive Payload, Binary Orbit, No Distractions.
- Origin Trait: Bray Legacy.
Jurisprudent PvE god rolls
| PvE Roll: All-Around | |
|---|---|
| Barrel | Arrowhead Brake |
| Magazine | Steady Rounds |
| Perk 1 | Rimestealer (also good: Rapid Hit) |
| Perk 2 | Headstone (also good: Explsove Paylod) |
| Masterwork | Reload Speed or Stability |
| Origin Trait | Bray Legacy |
Jurisprudent hits hard and can take advantage of its powerful Stasis perks. Arrowhead Brake and Steady Rounds start us off for Recoil control and a much-needed Stability boost to help keep shots on target.
The main perks complement each other perfectly alongside any Stasis-focused build. Rimestealer provides the effect of killing any frozen target, or Stasis crystal grants Frost Armor. This goes up to 5 stacks, giving a possible 22.5% damage reduction amount at 4.5% per stack. Headstone pairs perfectly here, as any precision final blow creates a Stasis crystal on the enemy’s body. Destroy this crystal with Jurisprudent to keep stacking more Frost armor.
Stasis builds or even Prismatic Stasis abilities, which freeze enemies, can all feed into Rimestealer and gain the benefits of this god roll. Jurisprudent can easily dispatch lower-tier mobs in one shot, meaning you can get this combination rolling with ease.
Jurisprudent PvP god rolls
| PvP Roll: All-Around | |
|---|---|
| Barrel | Arrowhead Brake |
| Magazine | Accurized Rounds |
| Perk 1 | Rapid Hit (also good: Lone Wolf) |
| Perk 2 | Explosive Payload |
| Masterwork | Stability |
| Origin Trait | Bray Legacy |
High-Impact Frames are a workhorse weapon in PvP and can easily hold down areas and long sight lines, and this god roll gets the best out of Jurisprudent.
Start with Arrowhead Brake to get the best Recoil control when laying down fire and Accurized Rounds to keep Jurisprudent effective at longer distances. Rapid Hit rewards precision hits with Stability and Reload Speed, which helps keep shots on target and a fast Reload to get back into the fight. Finish off with Explosive Payload, which adds flinch and an added ‘flash’ when landing shots on opponents, making it difficult for an enemy to return fire. This is also a valuable perk, as it inflicts added damage on opponents; it can be the difference maker in a duel or finish off a kill when a foe is low and tries to escape into cover.
