How to get the Wishful Ignorance Exotic
Wishful Ignorance are the new Titan exotic gauntlets released with The Final Shape DLC. Completing The Final Shape campaign on Legendary difficulty allows players to choose between Hazardous Propulsion and Wishful Ignorance.
Additionally, these exotics can be acquired by Focusing at Master Rahool in the Tower; however, they only become available after resetting your reputation rank.
Wishful Ignorance Exotic Perk
Wishful Ignorance is an exotic that revolves around melee attacks and damage:
- Wish-Dragon’s Talons: Gain an additional Frenzied Blade charge. Frenzied Blade and Flechette Storm briefly increase their damage with each strike. Pulses from your Banner of War return melee energy based on the number of allies healed.
Wishful Ignorance Build
The goal of the build is to utilize melee damage to keep on top of general ads. The Mods and Weapons allow the build to synergize by providing faster cooldowns, while other mods help improve survivability.
Mandatory Gear: Wishful Ignorance and a weapon with Pugilist as melee kills will increase the weapon’s damage, and using the weapon then helps recharge your melee ability much faster.

Gameplay Loop
One of the best parts of the build is its ease of use. As long as you maintain your buffs and use your weapons for faster cooldowns when needed, the build is as simple as punching anything that gets close to you.
The build also ensures near-constant Banner of War uptime, which means high survivability for you and your allies and significantly reduces your melee cooldowns. The large focus on ability usage also helps create Tangles that provide Woven Mail to you and your allies.
