Palworld Pals that Increase Carry Weight: Ranked

Never judge a Pal too quickly. While it is tempting to dismiss and ignore the seemingly weak Pals with limited work suitabilities, some Pals can actually grant massive bonuses when part of your Party.

For example, with the right Pal, you can increase your maximum weight capacity and carry much more than you normally would. This guide covers all the Pals that can be used to increase your carrying weight, including a few that sit at the top of our Palworld Tier list.

What Pals Increase Carry Weight?

Adding one of the following Pals to your Party will increase your maximum carry weight. Note that any one of these Pals can add between +50 to +100 to your Carry weight:

Best Palworld Carry Weight Pals

Given how fast one becomes encumbered in Palworld, especially when mining, having one of these Pals in your Party can drastically improve your quality of life in-game. Having said that, no one wants to waste a spot in their party for a Pal that is only useful for increasing carry weight.

Where to Find Pals that Increase Weight

• Cattiva: Cattiva is by far the easiest Pal on this list to find. You’ll find plenty near your starting location.
• Lunaris: Lunaris is a Neutral element level 32 boss in Palworld. You can find it and fight it in the Sealed Realm of the Esoteric, inside its dungeon, but you can also buy it from the Black Marketeer. We cover how to breed Lunaris here. 
• Broncherry: Broncherry is a Grass element Pal in Palworld. You can find Broncherry near the Sea of Breeze Archipelago. We cover how to breed Broncherry here. 
• Broncherry Aqua: Bronchery Aqua is a Water/Grass level 30 Boss in Palworld. Broncherry Aqua can be found inside the Shoal Mineshaft, near the Sealed Realm of the Swordmaster fast travel. We cover the Broncherry Aqua Location here.
• Kingpaca: Kingpaca can be found south of the Small Settlement fast travel.

Carrying Capacity Stacks in Palworld

If you’re in the process of gathering heavy resources, such as Ores or moving your base’s location, you can equip several Pals that increase carrying capacity simultaneously and reap the cumulative benefits. Indeed, this Pal Skill stacks.

In the image below, you can see how having 2 Cattivas in a Party leads to a total of +100 Carry capacity (50 x 2).

Weight in Palworld: How It Works

Weight is a critical stat in Palworld, especially in the early game. Weight determines how many items you can carry at any given time based on the specific weight of each item. Most items are relatively light, but a few are extremely heavy and will encumber you quickly. Once you’ve reached or surpassed your maximum weight, you’ll move extremely slowly.

To increase your maximum carry weight, you can either add points to your weight stat or equip a Pal that increases weight.
