Palworld Swimming Mount Tier List: Best Swimming Pals

by | Feb 6, 2024

Unlike Pokemon, Pals are anything but useless. They can fight, they can work, and some can be used as Pal Mounts.

Indeed, with the right Pal, you can stop running around and move much faster with a mount. In fact, as you level up, you can even get access to swimming mounts! This guide covers all the Pals that can be used as a Swimmint Mount today.

Palworld Best Swimming Mounts: S Tier Pals

Based on the excellent tests from user r/Ryik, this tier list includes base speeds and maximum speeds for all Pals that can be used as a Mount. These are the fastest Water Mount Pals in the game:

About our Speed Tier List…

Mount Ranks: Unlike our other Tier lists that feature a “general rank”, this Tier list and its specific Mount Ranks solely focus on Speed. We rank all Pals in our Palworld Tier list here.

About Max Speed: This column takes into account the speed bonus some Pals receive when condensed. By Max Speed, we mean Pals with 4 starts. If a Pal does not have a Max Speed figure, it is because their speed is not improved when condensed

About Player Level: This column refers to the Player level required to use a Pal as a mount. For instance, even if you managed to catch or breed a Necromus at level 40, you won’t be able to use it as a Mount until level 49. This column is important as it will help you target the best/fastest mount at any moment during your leveling experience.

Best Early Swimming Mounts

Getting your first swimming mount is a milestone, allowing you to explore places you couldn’t before. And unlike games that require you to beat the game before getting your first mount, you can get one as early as level 10. All you’ll need is:

  1. A Pal Gear Workshop (unlocked at level 10)
  2. Unlock the Surfent Saddle technology
  3. Craft a Surfent Saddle (for 5 leather, 5 Pal Fluids, and 10 Paladium Fragments)
  4. Equip it, and you’re good to go!
