Palworld Best Kindling Pals: Tier List

With 20+ Kindling Pals at your disposal, there’s something for everyone. That said, not all Pals were created well. As your base can only succeed if you have the best combination of Pals working there, you’ll want those that sit at the top of the Pals Tier list.

This guide covers every Pal for Kindling and ranks them from best (Level 4) to worst (Level 1).

What is Kindling

Kindling allows Pals to perform fire-related actions at your base, such as lighting a campfire or a furnace. Only specific Pals in Palworld have access to the kindling skill. As you progress further, you’ll find Pals that have a higher level of Kindling, allowing you to complete tasks further, depending on how high the level is.

Best Pal for Kindling: Jormuntide Ignis

Jormuntide Ignis is, hands down, the best Pal for Kindling right now. It has Kindling Level 4. It features the highest stats amongst Fire Pals, making it one of the strongest Pals in the game, and it can also be used as a Mount. What more could we ask for?

• Location: No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary Island, located north of the Ruined Fortress City fast travel point.
• Possible Drops: High-Quality Pal Oil, Flame Organ
• Skills: Ignis Blast, Dragon Cannon, Flare Storm, Ignis Breath, Tri-Lightning, Fire Ball, Dragon Meteor

Note that Pals don’t all have the same Kindling Level (the higher the level, the higher the efficiency). Needless to say, Pals with a Level 4 Kindling will be the strongest at jobs that require Kindling. 

When to use Kindling in Palworld

The first structure that you will build in the game, the campfire, needs Kindling. Besides that, there are a few other structures that you are going to need Kindling for throughout the game:

• Campfire
• Primitive Furnace
• Improved Furnace
• Electric Furnace
• Cooking Pot
• Heater

If you are just getting started, the Foxpark is the easiest Kindling pal to get. You can get a few of them to get your Campfire and Furnaces started.
