Tonics are one of the biggest features of Episode 2: Revenant. Bungie is definitely trying to shake up the seasonal formula with these tonics, but they could have done a much better job of explaining how the system works. But worry not, we’re here to help.

How do you see how many of which tonic you have already purchased?
You have probably already figured this out. However, for the sake of future players coming in late to the content. I am still going to answer your question.
Your character screen > scroll to inventory > top right, open “Tonic Capsule” using your details button> hover your cursor over the category you want to check; Volatile or Enriching. This will open a drop down inventory of all crafted tonics you have in your inventory. Hover over the tonic and “apply” to use. You cannot use more than 1 of the same type. You may use 1 volatile and 1 Enriching at a time.
My purpose of coming here was to avoid having to boot up D2 to check the tier types of the Reagents. I was kind of hoping that information would be listed in this article. It is not.
I’ve seen your question a lot and it’s a common complaint at this stage in the content’s life cycle. Perhaps in the future Bungie will provide a better explanation on how the system works.
this seems outdated due to act 2 having tombs tonics
Do tonic buffs stack?? And why the hell can’t I find a simple “yes” or “no” on the internet anywhere???? I don’t need recipes or how to unlock. Just do the buffs stack. Holy shit I hate the future.
Is there a Act 3 recipe yet?
