How good is Shadow Price going to be?

Auto Rifles are, overall, mediocre right now, and Precision Frame Auto Rifles are no exception. However, Shadow Price does come with some solid perks, such as Stats For All, Votlshot, Demolitionist, and One for All. These perks are all top-tier options on Primary ammo weapons and slightly bolster Shadow Price as a standout among the rest.

In PvP, Precision Frame Auto Rifles are quite strong right now. However, Shadow Price does not come with many perks that make it stand out in the Crucible, meaning players will only want to use it in PvE, and because of this, Shadow Price is a pretty average weapon overall.

Handling is often nice to have on weapons in PvE to make them feel nicer to use, meaning that we will opt for Fluted Barrel and a Handling Masterwork. For our magazine, because we have Stats For All, we can afford to go for a magazine-boosting option like Appended Mag.

For our perks, Stats For All makes this weapon feel a lot less clunky due to the bump to Handling and Reload Speed. This pairs brilliantly with Voltshot, as the jolting damage from this perk will activate Stats For All, making them synergize excellently. Alternatively, Attrition Orbs and Demolitionist can be used together to create a high ability-uptime and utility setup. Demolitionist helps provide grenade energy while Attrition Orbs can help with general orb generation to synergise with mods such as recuperation, innervation, or subclass-specific fragments such as Facet of Purpose

Shadow Price PvP god rolls

Shadow Price is massively carried by its weapon archetype and decent stats, as Smallbore, Accurised Rounds, and a Stability or Range masterwork can make this weapon have some solid stats.

For perk 1, Strategist is the best option as it will feed back our Class Ability, which can provide some versatility and allow players to play around their abilities a bit more. Gutshot Straight is the best option in slot 2 as it can provide some lenience for players that may not be as accurate. However, it is mainly the best optionas as other perks in this column are simply not well-suited for PvP.

How to get the Shadow Price

Shadow Price is a Vanguard weapon and will drop from the Vanguard playlists, returning as one of the Nightfall weapons for The Final Shape. This gun will join the rotation of the weekly drops in the Nightfall playlists, allowing players to farm it in Grandmaster Nightfalls.
