Destiny 2 Revision Zero Catalyst: How to get it in Season 19

by | Dec 11, 2022

The Revision Zero Pulse Rifle, the last Exotic from Season of the Seraph (S19), will become available on December 20, 2022. This means the weapon remains technically a mystery, but much has been revealed already, special about its one-of-a-kind Catalyst.

This quick guide will tell you everything there is to know about it: How to get it? How to unlock it? Is it even worth it? And that last part is important because Exotic catalysts can be extremely hard to find and/or unlock, but the benefits are not always up to par.

How to get the Revision Zero catalyst

Both weapon and catalyst will be obtainable through a dedicated Exotic Quest that will be released on December 20, 2022. To access the Exotic Mission, called “The Arrival,” you’ll require the Seasonal Pass.

Other than that, we also know that the Revision Zero will be a unique weapon because it doesn’t have one catalyst but four! This will be the first time we’ll ever see an Exotic with more than a single Catalyst.

The Revision Zero will also be craftable; therefore, expect these catalysts to play a role in the crafting process, similar to the Ostea Striga, but with better functionality.

How to unlock the catalyst?

Unlike most catalysts that require a certain number of kills to unlock, these catalysts will most require you to complete a dedicated Exotic quest called “The Final Shape.” This weapon and catalyst are all about replayability; therefore, expect a long quest with a multitude of steps before being able to unlock everything it has to offer.

Revision Zero Catalyst Perks

As mentioned before, Revision Zero won’t have one catalyst but four catalysts in total! We do not yet know what these catalysts will do but stay tuned, and we’ll update you as soon as the Exotic quest becomes available on December 20, 2022.

How to get the Revision Zero Exotic?

In case you don’t even have the weapon yet, it will also be obtainable as part of “The Arrival” Exotic mission.

Is the Catalyst worth it?

We’ll see in a couple of weeks what the general consensus ends up being. In the meantime, if you want this catalyst, you’ll have to wait until “The Final Shape’ Exotic mission becomes available.
