How good is Lost Signal
Lost Signal is part of a brand-new grenade launcher Frame called Area Denial Frame. This new frame behaves similarly to the top-tier Witherhoard Exotic, creating a field (Stasis in this case) that lasts for some time and damages any enemies who enter its space. Just like its forebearer, Lost Signal is great at dealing damage over time and creating ample crowd control. While Lost Signal doesn’t have the same level of damage output as Withehorad, its advantage is that you get to save that coveted Exotic spot for another weapon of choice.
As with all episodic weapons available in Echoes, it comes packing the Radiolaria Transposer origin trait which makes enemies explode into a pool of radiolarian fluid, even further amplifying Lost Signal’s area-of-effect capabilities.
It is easy to recommend Lost Signal as a weapon in PvE. You can fire off the three-round burst of grenades into a crowd of enemies and sit back as Radiolarian fluid and Stasis go to work on your foes. However, in PvP, the weapon’s weak damage output compared to Witherhoard is unlikely to prove effective and cannot be recommended.

Lost Signal PvE god rolls
PvE Roll: All-Around | |
---|---|
Barrel | Quick Launch |
Magazine | High-Velocity Rounds |
Perk 1 | Auto-Loading Holster |
Perk 2 | One For All or Vorpal Weapon |
Masterwork | Blast Radius |
For the barrel, you will want Quick Launch to boost your velocity and handling with the weapon so you can whip it out with speed. For our magazine, we’ll want to pick High-Velocity Rounds to increase your projectiles’ velocity and reload speed.
For our perks, we want Auto-Loading Holster and One For All in perk columns 1 and 2, respectively. Auto-Loading Holster will ensure that whenever you need to pull out your trusty Lost Signal, you are reloaded and ready to create some Stasis damage fields. One For All will be incredibly easy to proc given the Stasis fields and radiolarian fluid you will be trapping multiple enemies within, giving you a 35% damage increase.
Lost Signal is sure to prove lethal against packs of enemies, creating a powerful stasis damage field and triggering increasing damage through One For All while chaining radiolarian fluid damage pools.

Hi Ryan,
Just wondering, when crafting Blast Radius is always 100% except when selecting Implosion Rounds, so wouldn’t handling be better? Handling also effects the ready-stow speed too doesn’t it?
Cheers
