How good is Braytech Werewolf
Precision Autos are decent in PvE, but without the proper perks, they tend to fall behind the Adaptives. Thankfully, BW here can roll with some of the strongest perks for this frame, such as Rewind Rounds in Column 3, and Onslaught in Column 4. It’s also got Kinetic Tremors or Target Lock for beefier targets, as well as Desperate Measures for the ability gremlins out there.
In PvP, this will be one of the strongest Precision Autos to date. A base 69 range beats out all others in class, and its other stats don’t lag too far behind. It’s also got a base 74 recoil direction, which when paired with the right perk, it can hit a perfect 100! Finally, it’s got those PvP perks everyone is after, like Zen Moment and Tap the Trigger, for instance.

Braytech Werewolf PvE god rolls
PvE Roll: All-Around | |
---|---|
Barrel | Fluted Barrel |
Magazine | Flared Magwell |
Perk 1 | Rewind Rounds (also good: Subsistence) |
Perk 2 | Onslaught or Kinetic Tremors |
Masterwork | Reload Speed |
Precision Autos carry a lot of weight in their range and firepower, which in turn makes their handling and stability a little low. To mitigate this, we’ve chosen Fluted Barrel and Flared Magwell, as they both increase stability while also providing some much-needed handling and reload speed bumps.
For Perk 1, it’s hard to argue anything that isn’t Rewind Rounds. Overflow is good and all, but it’s situational and can sometimes end up getting you killed if the ammo is in a disadvantageous position. If you want something for lower-end content, Subsistence will suit you well. Perk 2 has a lot of good options, but Onslaught or Kinetic Tremors are hard to beat. Onslaught ramps up the fire rate while keeping the damage profile, and Kinetic Tremors is great against larger targets.
Braytech Werewolf PvP god rolls
PvP Roll: All-Around | |
---|---|
Barrel | Arrowhead Break |
Magazine | Ricochet Rounds |
Perk 1 | Dynamic Sway Reduction or Zen Moment |
Perk 2 | Tap the Trigger (also good: Target Lock) |
Masterwork | Stability |
As mentioned earlier, the recoil direction on BW is high enough to throw on Arrowhead Break and hit the perfect 100, so that’s what we’ll do. We’ll also throw on Ricochet Rounds for some much-needed stability while also giving a minor range bump.
Perk 1 has two of the best PvP auto rifle perks: Zen Moment and Dynamic Sway Reduction. Both offer extremely powerful buffs while shooting, so the only difference here is preference, though DSR’s stability buff will probably win over more. Perk 2’s going to be Tap the Trigger. Its ease of use and extremely potent, albeit short-lived, buff is perfect for landing those ever-important first shots. Target Lock is a fine alternative, even if it doesn’t sway the TTK.
