Skydock IV D2 Recommended loadout
Rank: ✅ A Tier: Good Lost Sector to farm 👍
Skydock IV has Unstoppable and Barrier Champions; therefore, we recommend a Solar or Strand loadout:
- Kinetic Slot: Arbalest or Wish-Ender, as they can both take down Barrier Champions while also having solid burst damage and range.
- Energy Slot: Epochal Integration or Zaouli’s Bane, as they can both stun Unstoppable Champions while also taking advantage of the Solar Surge.
- Heavy Slot: Apex Predator is best, but any high-damage Solar or Strand Heavy weapon will work
- Build: Solar or Strand

Subclasses and Exotics
Due to the weekly surge, players should go for a Solar or Strand build. Hunters can go for our Radiant Assassin build or Celestial Nighthawk if feeling confident. Threadrunners can use a Cyrtarachne’s Facade and Whirling Maelstrom setup for great ad-clear and survivability.
Solar Warlock is incredibly strong, so we recommend a Sunbracers build with Heat Rises and Touch of Flame for infinite grenades and excellent survivability. On Strand, we suggest our Mindspun Suspender build for strong crowd-control and the ability to stun Unstoppable Champions with Suspend.
Titans can either go for a Strand setup with Banner of War and Synthoceps or use our Overflowing Suspension build to slow the fight down. On Solar, Titans should go for our Undying Flame build for solid damage and good healing.

Needless to say, these aren’t easy and the least you should do is ensure you have a reasonable Power Level. By reasonable, we mean no less than 10 Power Levels below the recommended levels. If you find yourself struggling, work on increasing your Power Level as much as possible and focus on Legend Lost Sectors.
Skydock IV Destiny 2 Legend guide
In the first room, there will be a couple of red-bar enemies and an Unstoppable Champion. Quickly take out the minor enemies first before stunning the Champion as if they are alone, it will be much easier to take them down.
As you drop down, land on the left-hand ledge and take care of the Psions, and then look to nuke the Unstoppable Champion that will be rushing you. Using the high ground will make this section much easier, so stay on the ledge while you kill the Champion and remaining red-bar enemies. Once all minors are cleared, you can easily kill the Barrier Champion.
As you push up through the room, continue to take down the red-bar enemies in the vicinity. A few War Beasts will rush you, but they are easy to handle, provided you keep your distance. Plenty of explosive barrels are in this room, so use them to make things go quicker. Once the area is clear, you can proceed to the boss room.
The first thing you should see in the final room is an Unstoppable Champion. This enemy is a high priority, so take them down as fast as possible. Feel free to hang by the doorway or even retreat into the previous room to make things more comfortable for yourself. Once defeated, enter the room, and you can jump up to the left and go on the walkway where a Psion is standing or stick to the right-hand side of the room. Both work and it is entirely up to you.
Make sure to take out the remaining enemies in the room before you take on the boss. However, you can one-shot the boss if you have enough burst damage. If not, dump your rockets and Special ammo; the boss should die easily. Once dead, you will be able to collect your loot.
Lost Sector Rewards
As a reminder, completing Legend or Master Lost Sectors solo is the only way to acquire several specific Exotic armor pieces. While our Lost Sector Exotics guide covers them all, including their rotation for the remainder of the season, these are all Lost Sector Exotics available today:

Skydock IV Summary
Featuring a Solar threat modifier, the Skydock IVLost Sector features Solar and Void shielded enemies as well as Unstoppable and Barrier Champions. Due to its length to complete and difficulty, this is one of the absolute best Lost Sectors to farm.
It’s on the EDZ not Nessus.
That was my bad, now corrected, thanks for the heads up!
“Epochal Integration or Zaouli’s Bane, as they can both stun Unstoppable Champions while also taking advantage of the Solar Surge”. I thought Lost Sectors only had Threats, not Surges? The burns only affect us receiving, not us dealing damage.
