Act 3 of Episode: Heresy is finally here, and with it has come the final few upgrades for the Barrow-Dyad exotic submachine gun.
Here, we’ll cover how to obtain and complete the Dyadic Perfection questline, rewarding you with the fifth and final intrinsic upgrade for the weapon.
How to obtain Dyadic Perfection
Getting the Dyadic Perfection quest is relatively straightforward, although extremely time-consuming if you’re new to this episode’s offerings.
Begin by fully completing the Dyadic Ascension quest, unlocking four of the five intrinsic upgrades. Then, continue the episode’s story through to where you unlock The Sunless Cell strike. Around this point is when the Shaping Slab will directly offer you the Dyadic Perfection quest. We cover how to get the Barrow-Dyad here.
How to complete Dyadic Perfection
The main portion of Dyadic Perfection is as simple as finding six final Taken Osseous Fragments, all located within The Sunless Cell strike. After doing so, you’ll need to max out your rank on the Mastery of Ambition vendor track, which is equally straightforward. Here are the locations of the six fragments you need to find in the strike (they’re also marked on your minimap as you approach them!).
Fragment 1
The first fragment is at the beginning of the strike, as you make your way from The Mausoleum to The Founts. It’s the glowing item you’ll see directly ahead in the hallway you walk through, pictured below.
Fragment 2
Fragment #2 is in the exact same room as the first. Follow the mission waypoint around the corner of the image pictured above for Fragment #1, then turn right and look up. You’ll find the second fragment up on a pillar.
Fragment 3
The third fragment is also before you get into the strike proper. Instead of heading into the central room of The Founts to defeat the Channelers of Terror, head to the left and around the large set of debris pictured below.
Fragment 4
Fragment #4 is located in The Asylum area. Immediately upon entering, look down and to your left. You’ll see the fragment glowing from a distance down an easily accessible ramp.
Fragment 5
The fifth fragment is also located in The Asylum, directly under the central platform where you entered the room. There are invisible platforms on the lower left portion of the area that lead you to it; start from the left blight, then pull out your Ghost to spot the platforms.
Fragment 6
The final fragment is directly after the room with the Subjugator and Ogre. Jump up and to the left to find it.
