Chamber of Starlight D2 Recommended loadout
Rank: ✅ A Tier: Good Lost Sector to farm 👍
Chamber of Starlight has Barrier and Unstoppable Champions; therefore, we recommend this Solar loadout:
- Riptide with Chill Clip to deal with Overload Champions
- A Solar Hand Cannon or Solar Bow to deal with Unstoppable Champions, thanks to their respective anti-champion artifact mods.
- Gjallarhorn or Apex Predator to deal with Overload Champions while also benefitting from the weekly Surge.
- A Solar 3.0 (or Stasis) build

Subclasses and Exotics
All classes work well in this Lost Sector, but each class should be on a Solar or Stasis subclass to take full advantage of the Solar and Stasis Surges. Hunters can use Celestial Nighthawk to one-shot any Champion (or the boss), coupled with a Healing Grenade setup with Ember of Empyrean for survivability. Alternatively, Hunters can opt for our a Touch of Duskfield build.
Warlocks can go with a build with Sunbracers, Touch of Flame, and Heat Rises for excellent ad clear and survivability. Or, opt for a slower build with Stasis and Osmiomancy Gloves, taking advantage of the Bleak Watcher Aspect to slow everything down.
Titans can use Stasis, but given that Behemoth is relatively weak, we recommend our Undying Flame build with Synthoceps for incredible survivability and solid damage.
Armor | Class | Type | Requirements | Source | Released | Requires | Exotic Perk |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Sunbracers | Warlock | Arms | Free-to-Play | Exotic Engrams | Season 1 | Free-to-Play | Increases the duration of Solar Grenades. Solar melee kills grant unlimited Solar Grenade energy for a brief time. |
Celestial Nighthawk | Hunter | Helm | Free-to-Play | Exotic Engrams | Season 1 | Free-to-Play | Modifies Golden Gun to fire a single high-damage shot. Enemies eliminated by the shot explode and grant you Super energy. |
Synthoceps | Titan | Arms | Free-to-Play | Exotic Engrams | Season 1 | Free-to-Play | Increased melee lunge range. Improved melee and Super damage when you're surrounded. |
Requirements
Difficulty | Legend | Master |
Recommended Power | 1830 | 1840 |
Exotic armor (if solo) | Rare | Common |
Needless to say, these aren’t easy, and the least you should do is ensure you have a reasonable Power Level. By reasonable, we mean no less than 10 Power Levels below the recommended levels. If you find yourself struggling, work on increasing your Power Level as much as possible and focus on Legend Lost Sectors.
Chamber of Starlight Destiny 2 Legend guide
As you round the first corner, you will see an Unstoppable Champion a small distance away. You can easily stun him with your Unstoppable weapon and deal with him appropriately. If possible, you should also take care of the sniper on the ledge above the Champion, as he will be pretty annoying.
The other enemies in the opening area are a bunch of Taken Acolytes, Hobgoblins, and an orange-bar Taken Knight. The Knight can cause some problems, but if he is causing you any issues while fighting, a Rocket will quickly kill him. These enemies are straightforward to kill and shouldn’t cause you too much hassle.
As you progress up the ramp, Taken Thrall will spawn; a couple of shots from a Solar Hand Cannon will take care of them. Next, as you move to the final area, you will notice another Unstoppable Champion. Lure him down the slope and kill him down there, out of line-of-sight from the snipers that are posted up above the chest. Once the Unstoppable Champion dies, another wave of enemies will spawn, as well as another Unstoppable Champion and the boss. Again, kill the surrounding enemies and nuke the Unstoppable Champion. This death will spawn an Overload Champion right at the back alongside the other snipers.
The boss often rotates around the final area, so keep your peeled as they do a lot of damage. If it is safe, you can stun the Overload with your Rocket Launcher, which, in turn, will take care of the other snipers thanks to the AoE damage. With the Champion dead, you can now focus the boss with your Super or any remaining ammo you may have. Bear in mind that there will be a couple of enemies to the right of the room, but you should be able to ignore these. If they are causing you any trouble, then you can kill them.
Lost Sector Rewards
As a reminder, completing Legend or Master Lost Sectors solo is the only way to acquire several specific Exotic armor pieces. While our Lost Sector Exotics guide covers them all, including their rotation for the remainder of the season, these are all Lost Sector Exotics available today:
