The fan-favorite Superblack Shader is back! Released for Destiny 2 with Into the Light in April 2024, Superblack took over the entire Destiny 2 Fashion scene.
Meant to be only available during Into the Light, the shader was gone for several months, but it’s available once more as part of Festival of the Lost 2024!

As revealed with today’s TWID, Superblack Shader is returning with this year’s Festival of the Lost. To unlock it, you’ll need to complete the Ghost Writer Event Challenge:

The Superblack shader will be available as a reward for the Ghost Writer Event Challenge which requires you to complete 15 Event Challenges.

Festival of the Lost 2024 schedule
Festival of the Lost 2024 started October 29, 2024, and will be available for free to all players until November 19, 2024.
- Festival of the Lost starts on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 9 AM PDT
- Festival of the Lost ends on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 9 AM PDT
Festival of the Lost lasts for three weeks and occurs once per year.
