While new loot of any kind excites the Destiny 2 community at large, the release of new exotic gear is a step above the rest. Especially in the case of exotic armor, Guardians are able to use these items to create all-new builds and synergies that are as fun as they are powerful.
Today, we’ll be taking a look at a new exotic helmet that entered the Warlock’s arsenal with The Final Shape: Speaker’s Sight. Let’s take a look at everything this piece of gear has to offer.

How to get the Speaker’s Sight Exotic
Speaker’s Sight is a Warlock exotic helmet that arrived with The Final Shape. If you complete The Final Shape’s campaign on Legendary difficulty, you’ll be able to select between this and Mataiodoxia, an exotic chest piece revolving around Strand.
If you’re not up for the challenge that Legendary difficulty brings (or you chose Mataiodoxia instead), you can purchase Speaker’s Sight from Master Rahool in The Tower after resetting your rank with him once. Rank-ups can be earned by decrypting engrams, and the largest chunks of vendor XP come from focusing exotic engrams at Rahool.
Speaker’s Sight Exotic Perk
Based on a character Destiny veterans are no doubt familiar with, Speaker’s Sight offers unique support capabilities. Its exotic perk reads:
- The Lost Voice: Healing grenades spawn a Restorative Turret. Healing allies occasionally spawns an Orb of Power.
Speaker’s Sight Build
Because The Lost Voice’s primary function relies on Healing Grenade, Speaker’s Sight is only viable on Warlock’s Solar and Prismatic subclasses. Here’s our favorite build, which utilizes the intrinsic support capabilities of Dawnblade to bring everything to another level.
Speaker’s Support
Excels In: Casual & Endgame (Dungeons & Raids)
Goal of the Build: Constantly heal allies through Speaker’s Sight while also granting yourself worthwhile buffs.
Mandatory Gear: Speaker’s Sight. A Special ammo weapon with Demolitionist is highly recommended (such as The Call paired with Sunshot).

Gameplay Loop
Utilizing this build is as simple as throwing your grenade, which will be a healing turret through Speaker’s Sight. This turret generates Orbs of Power, recharges your abilities (Ember of Benevolence), and grants you x2 Restoration (Touch of Flame).
Beyond this constant healing for you and allies, Ember of Torches offers Radiant upon using your melee ability. Both this and Restoration can be extended through Ember of Empyrean, granting you seemingly infinite buff uptime while also benefitting allies. The only trouble you may encounter is if your grenade doesn’t recharge in time, in which case you can use the equipped Demolitionist weapon we recommended earlier.
