Destiny 2 Font of Might mod: How to get it and Why

Font of Might is a strong addition to any build, especially since the release of 3.0 Subclasses. The power this mod can generate through Elemental Well generation and weapon synergy can give Guardians the extra push they need to take on even the toughest endgame content.

In fact, when Font of Might is part of the seasonal mods, it becomes an instant must-have. But how do you get Font of might and what makes it so great?

How to get Well of Tenacity in Season 19?

Like the vast majority of Combat mods in Destiny 2, Font of Might can be purchased from Ada-1, located in the Tower. Be aware that since the release of The Witch Queen, she now offers 4 combat mods for sale per day.

The cost for Font of Might is 10,000 Glimmer.

What does Font of Might do?

One thing to love about Font of Might is that it keeps things simple and straight from the go with its description.

Picking up an elemental well that matches your subclass energy type grants a temporary bonus to weapon damage of that same elemental type.

The mod will also cost 4 of ANY energy type. Expensive, but you won’t need to farm or modify any armor you may have already to use it.

Bonus to Weapon Damage

With Font of Might equipped you will gain +25% damage to all weapons of the matching elemental type every time you pick up an elemental well. Picking up a Solar elemental well will apply this to Solar weapons, Arc elemental wells to Arc weapons, and Void elemental wells to Void weapons respectively.

With the right mod combinations, you can even create wells with your equipped weapon. Example: A Guardian running Solar Siphon might find that the addition of Font of Might can turn weapons like Lament or Xenophage into incredible elemental well makers.

Duration

Font of Might lasts for 10 seconds from the time you pick up an elemental well. This timer will start over each time you pick up a new elemental well.

Does Font of Might stack?

The +25% damage boost gained from Font of Might is stackable with all other damage buffs in Destiny 2. This compatibility is what makes Font of Might a great addition to any strong build.

However, Font of Might will not stack if you equip multiple copies of it..

How do you use the Font of Might mod?

Font of Might is a great complimentary mod for builds as well as an introductory mod for beginners because it is so easy to use and take advantage of. This is the entire setup you’ll require:

• Equip any other mod that creates elemental wells. One easy example is Elemental Ordnance which will create matching elemental wells from grenade kills.
• Equip Font of Might on any piece of armor you have that has 4 free energy slots.
• Equip any weapon that matches the elemental type of the orbs you will be creating.

With those three prep steps completed, all you would need to do is create elemental wells (by getting grenade kills, for example). Collect the wells. Then enjoy the +25% damage buff on your equipped weapon of matching elemental type.

So if you made Solar wells with a Solar grenade kill you would see the damage buff reflected on any Solar weapon you’d have equipped after you picked up the elemental well.
