Destiny 2 Prismatic Builds: Hunters

These are some of the Best Prismatic Hunter Builds right now:

Hunter Prismartic Build Infographic Destiny 2

Shrouded Liar

Excels In: Endgame (Dungeons, Raids, Legend content)

Goal of the build: Use Combination Blow combined with Gambler’s Dodge, Winter’s Shroud, and Stylish Executioner to delve in and out of Invisibility while dealing high damage.

Mandatory Gear: Liar’s Handshake or Relativism with Spirit of the Liar. The Still Hunt Exotic Sniper is recommended.

  • Aspects: Stylish Executioner and Winter’s Shroud.
  • Fragments: Facet of Purpose, Facet of Protection, Facet of Dawn, Facet of Courage, Facet of Ruin.
  • Abilities: Golden Gun, Duskfield Grenade, Combination Blow, Gambler’s Dodge.
  • Stats: Resilience 🡒 Discipline 🡒 Intellect.
  • Mods:
    • Helmet: Hands-On, Dynamo, and Heavy Ammo Finder.
    • Arms: 3x Heavy Handed.
    • Chest: Resist Mods matching your enemies.
    • Legs: Harmonic Scavenger, Innervation, and Absolution.
    • Class Item: Powerful Attraction, Bomber, and Special Finisher.

Gameplay Loop

The overall goal of this build is to utilise the raw melee strength of Combination Blow, combined with Gambler’s Dodge’s refunding capabilities and Winter’s Shroud’s freezing potential to deal increased damage. The classic melee>dodge>melee playstyle is key here, dodging near enemies to ensure your Combination Blow is refunded.

By using Winter’s Shroud and a Duskfield Grenade on top of this, you will be able to freeze enemies by throwing a Duskfield and dodging near them, instantly applying more than 100 stacks of Slow, allowing you to shatter them with your melees, dealing massive damage thanks to the Stasis shatter buffs this season. Your Combination Blow damage is also increased by the Facet of Courage when enemies are afflicted with Slow, as Slow is a Stasis debuff.

Stacking Combination Blow to x3 can be quite the chore in high-level content, so priming enemies with a primary weapon or using the high-damage Cross Counter melee from Liar’s Handshake is crucial for getting those early stacks online.

Gunpowder Gamble Solar featured Destiny 2

Gunpowder Guru

Excels In: Endgame (Dungeons, Raids, Legend content)

Goal of the build: Use a weapon that matches your Grenade to stack Spirit of Verity to unleash a massive Gunpowder Gamble when ready.

Mandatory Gear: Relativism with Spirit of Verity for more damage and a weapon that matches your chosen Grenade.

  • Aspects: Gunpowder Gamble and Threaded Specter.
  • Fragments: Facet of Ruin, Facet of Purpose, Facet of Protection, Facet of Balance, Facet of Courage, and Facet of Mending.
  • Abilities: Silence and Squall, Gambler’s Dodge, Threaded Spike, and Swarm Grenade.
  • Stats: Resilience 🡒 Discipline 🡒 Mobility.
  • Mods:
    • Helmet: Hands-On, Dynamo, and Heavy Ammo Finder.
    • Arms: 2x Firepower and Momentum Transfer.
    • Chest: Resist Mods matching your enemies.
    • Legs: 2x Elemental Surge matching your Primary weapon and Invigoration.
    • Class Item: Time Dilation, Powerful Attraction, and Distribution.

Gameplay Loop

This loop centres around the Death Throes timer and how often you can get Gunpowder Gamble. With our setup, we are able to use any elemental weapon to obtain stacks, as long as it matches the element of our grenade (for example, an Arc Weapon can only be used alongside Arcbolt Grenade). Getting kills with the weapon will grant stacks of Death Throes up to x5, doubling our Grenade damage (and our Gunpowder Gamble damage).

Once this is stacked to x5, you have to get Gunpowder Gamble ready. This is made easier if you decide to use a Solar weapon, but ability kills grant up to four stacks of Gunpowder Gamble, so use your Grenade, melee, and Threaded Specter to get kills if you need to top off your total. In addition, elemental debuff kills grant stacks, so perks like Voltshot, Destabilising Rounds, Hatchling, or Headstone can work if you want to use a different element to Solar, just make sure you get the kill with the elemental attack itself.

Once you have fully stacked Gunpowder Gamble and your Death Throes stacks are at x5, chuck your Gunpowder Gamble at the nearest clump of enemies or miniboss and watch them ignite in a massive explosion. This build holds up in higher-level content thanks to the massive damage potential, survivability due to Facet of Mending and Purpose, and anti-Unstoppable Champion properties of Gunpowder Gamble’s ignition, making this build an absolute blast everywhere in the game.

Destiny 2 Prismatic Builds: Warlock

These are some of the Best Prismatic Warlock Builds right now:

Warlock Prismatic featured Destiny 2

Prismatic Blizzard

Excels In: Endgame (Dungeons & Raids)

Goal of the Build: Utilize both Bleak Watcher and Getaway Artist turrets to dominate the battlefield while also having access to Devour and Transcendence.

Mandatory Gear: Getaway Artist and Khvostov 7G–0X.

  • Aspects: Feed the Void and Bleak Watcher.
  • Fragments: Facet of Grace, Facet of Devotion, Facet of Dawn, Facet of Purpose, and Facet of Protection.
  • Abilities: Song of Flame, Phoenix Dive, Arcane Needle, Storm Grenade.
  • Stats: Resilience → Discipline.
  • Mods:
    • Helmet: Kinetic Siphon, Heavy Ammo Finder.
    • Arms: Impact Induction, Focusing Strike.
    • Chest: Relevant reserve/resist mods.
    • Legs: Relevant ammo scavenger/surge mods.
    • Class Item: Distribution, Time Dilation.

Gameplay Loop

Swallowing your grenade not only provides an Arc Soul and Amplified from Getaway Artist but also places a Bleak Watcher turret at your feet. This interaction is the centerpiece of the build, allowing you to double-dip on things whenever your grenade is charged.

Feed the Void grants Devour on ability kills (including your Arc Soul!), increasing survivability. Beyond that, the majority of our fragment choices are focused primarily on building Transcendence quickly, which is assisted by the use of Khvostov since it lacks an elemental affinity.

Prismatic Flame

Excels In: Endgame (Dungeons & Raids)

Goal of the Build: Control the battlefield with both Hellion and Getaway Artist turrets, while also taking advantage of Prismatic Warlock’s kit and inherently potent weapon options.

Mandatory Gear: Getaway Artist. We highly recommend The Call with Strategist coupled with a potent Energy-slot Primary such as Sunshot, Trinity Ghoul, etc.

  • Aspects: Feed the Void and Hellion.
  • Fragments: Facet of Hope, Facet of Sacrifice, Facet of Balance, Facet of Dawn, Facet of Purpose.
  • Abilities: Song of Flame, Healing Rift, Arcane Needle, Storm Grenade.
  • Stats: Resilience → Recovery.
  • Mods:
    • Helmet: Heavy Ammo Finder and a Siphon matching your primary weapon.
    • Arms: Impact Induction, Focusing Strike.
    • Chest: Relevant reserve/resist mods.
    • Legs: Relevant ammo scavenger/surge mods.
    • Class Item: Time Dilation.

Gameplay Loop

Swallowing your grenade offers an Arc Soul and Amplified through Getaway Artist while casting your rift summons Hellion. The former regenerates easily with Devour through Feed the Void, while your class ability can be quickly regenerated through Facet of Hope and your Strategist weapon.

Beyond this, there isn’t much of a “loop” for this build. Rotate your grenade and class abilities as frequently as you can while also attempting to build Transcendence through weapon kills and Arcane Needle hits.

Prismatic Sorcerer

Excels In: Endgame (Dungeons, Raids, Legend content)

Goal of the Build: Utilize both Hellion and Getaway Artist to gain multiple high-damage turrets, assisting you and your allies on the battlefield.

Mandatory Gear: Getaway Artist and a legendary weapon with Strategist, such as The Call.

  • Aspects: Feed the Void and Hellion.
  • Fragments: Facet of Hope, Facet of Sacrifice, Facet of Purpose, Facet of Dawn, Facet of Balance.
  • Abilities: Song of Flame, Storm Grenade, Arcane Needle, and Healing Rift.
  • Stats: Max Resilience 🡒 Max Recovery.
  • Mods:
    • Helmet: Heavy Ammo Finder, Siphon matching your primary weapon..
    • Arms: Focusing Strike, Impact Induction.
    • Chest: Relevant Resistance and Reserve Mods.
    • Legs: x2 Surges matching your Heavy weapon.
    • Class Item: Time Dilation.

Gameplay Loop

Swallow your grenade to get a Sentient Arc Soul, then use your rift to gain Hellion. From here, your sole goal is to regenerate both of these abilities; Feed the Void (Devour) should help with Arc Soul, while your Strategist weapon greatly assists in regenerating Hellion.

This strong combination (and its constant uptime, if played correctly) is the core of this build. However, portions of the kit listed above provide additional benefits. Facet of Purpose grants Restoration on orb pickup, Facet of Sacrifice grants additional Darkness Transcendence energy, and Facet of Dawn provides Radiant. That said, be aware that this build is one that you can easily make your own—beyond the grenade, aspect, and exotic choices, what you run here is up to you.

Best Prismatic Builds: Titan

These are some of the Best Prismatic Titan Builds right now:

Titan Strand

Point-Contact Assassin

Excels In: Endgame (Dungeons, Raids, Legend content)

Goal of the Build: Breeze through solo content through invis and massive AoE damage thanks to Prismatic and Stoicism

Mandatory Gear: Stoicism with Spirit of the Assassin and Contact. Buried Bloodline or Khvostov are recommended.

  • Aspects: Consecration and Drengr's Lash.
  • Fragments: Facet of Dawn, Facet of Hope, Facet of Balance, Facet of Protection, Facet of Blessing, Facet of Purpose.
  • Abilities: Thruster, Frenzied Blade, Shackle Grenade, Bladefury.
  • Stats: Resilience 🡒 Strength 🡒 Recovery.
  • Mods:
    • Helmet: Siphon Mod matching your weapon, Hands-On.
    • Arms: Heavy Handed.
    • Chest: Relevant Resistance and Reserve Mods.
    • Legs: Better Already, Recuperation, Invigoration.
    • Class Item: Outreach, Powerful Attraction.

Gameplay Loop

The loop is quite simple: use Consecration on a group of enemies to ignite and jolt them, granting yourself healing, invis, amplified, and radiant. Activate Thruster when you approach the next group to proc Drengr’s Lash and pick up orbs, which activates Woven Mail through Facet of Purpose. Kill the suspended enemies, and start from the top. Using this in tandem with Episode 1’s artifact perk “Galvanic Armor'' will enhance your survivability even more!

Once you have Transcendence, activate it to make the loop go even faster. While Transcendent, you’ll be nigh unkillable thanks to its intrinsic damage resistance on top of Facet of Protection, Galvanic Armor, and Woven Mail.

Super Supreme

Excels In: Endgame

Goal of the Build: Supercharge your Super gains using both Spirit of the Bear and Spirit of Armamentarium.

Mandatory gear: Stoicism with Spirit of the Bear and Spirit of Armamentarium.

  • Aspects: Consecration and Unbreakable.
  • Fragments: Facet of Blessing, Facet of Courage, Facet of Mending, Facet of Awakening, Facet of Balance, Facet of Protection.
  • Abilities: Thermite Grenade and Frenzied Blade.
  • Stats: Resilience → Discipline → Recovery.
  • Mods:
    • Helmet: Ashes to Assets.
    • Arms: Heavy Handed and Firepower.
    • Chest: Relevant Resistance and Reserve Mods.
    • Legs: Innervation, Invigoration.
    • Class Item: Powerful Attraction, Bomber.

Gameplay Loop

Charge into a group of enemies and hold your grenade button to bring up the Unbreakable shield, blocking damage and giving yourself an overshield as well as super energy. Once it drains, it will release a frontal blast, dealing significant damage based on how much you blocked. However, with Thermite equipped, you deal the max damage at all times, making it vital here. The blast will activate Ashes to Assets and Firepower, as well as Facet of Mending, meaning even more Super energy and a decent chunk of health back. With Spirit of Armamentarium on, you’ll be able to do this twice before it’s on full cooldown. Be careful as the shield won't drop until both charges are used, so a little skill goes a long way here.

When it is on cooldown, this is where the Arc primary comes into play. Facet of Awakening spawns elemental pickups when getting rapid defeats with Light and Dark weapons, as well as your Super. Arc weapons will spawn Ionic Traces, the most powerful pickup as it grants energy to all three abilities. If you happen to have one with Demolitionist or Wellspring, this will be perfect as you’ll be getting even more energy. And finally, rapid kills with Darkness damage will grant grenade energy from Facet of Balance, so be sure to barrel in with Frenzied Blade and your special weapon to take full advantage of the kit.

Titan Prismatic featured Destiny 2.jpg

Transcendental Titan

Excels In: Casual Content (Seasonal Activities, Strikes, etc.)

Goal of the Build: Take full advantage of Prismatic and Stoicism to become an ability machine with high Transcendence uptime.

Mandatory gear: Stoicism with Spirit of the Inmost Light and Armamentarium. A Strand primary and Buried Bloodline are recommended.

  • Aspects: Consecration is the only required aspect.
  • Fragments: Facet of Awakening, Facet of Balance, Facet of Honor, Facet of Bravery, Facet of Devotion, Facet of Sacrifice.
  • Abilities: Thruster, Pulse Grenade, and Frenzied Blade.
  • Stats: Resilience 🡒 Discipline → Strength.
  • Mods:
    • Helmet: Siphon mod matching your main weapon.
    • Arms: Heavy Handed and Firepower.
    • Chest: Reserve or Resist mods.
    • Legs: Better Already, Innervation, Invigoration.
    • Class Item: Bomber, Outreach, Powerful Attraction.

Gameplay Loop

An evolution of past Inmost Light builds, this one takes full advantage of Prismatic to not only enhance our abilities’ regen, but to supercharge our Transcendence gains, which further improves ability regen when active.

As usual, the main loop is using abilities as often as possible to enhance their regen rates. However, before getting there, it's important to activate Devour from Buried Bloodline as it gives us extra grenade energy on kills, and health as well. Once you do, you’re free to let loose. Keep in mind to use your Strand primary as well to build Dark Transcendence energy, and once the bar is full, activate it to go even further beyond.
